This exhibition will feature work by Dai David whose aim is to reveal both the beauty and delight experienced when enjoying a light-filled scene. Dai states "I'm forever inspired by all forms of light: direct, reflected and even in its absence - shade & shadows. I seek to express the very essence of an atmosphere, be it an idyllic moment of solitude or a joyous, sun-drenched landscape. I want the viewer to feel as though they could simply step right into one of my paintings, have the sensation of being there and get to experience all the senses which went into its creation.
Wildlife Sculptor Stephen Henderson is joining this exhibition with work inspired by native shorebirds and fish species. Stephen's pieces are sculpted from Cedar and Pine as well as other materials such as salvaged metal and driftwood. Working with themes such as motherhood, courtship and predation, Stephen's work reflects the mannerisms of individual creatures and their personalities.
