Local photographer, Ceri Leigh is showing a series of wildlife photography from her new book focussing on a local garden during lockdown — ‘Life on the Floodplain – A Garden Wildlife Diary 2020’. Signed copies of the book are on sale at Found.
Ceri studied Wildlife Illustration, including photography, at Carmarthenshire College of Art and Countryside Management in Snowdonia. She later gained an MSc in Science Communication at Imperial College, London and went on to work in design and conservation management. While working as a graphic designer Ceri went on to work as Exhibitions Design & Conservation Manager at the Natural History Museum, London.
Now retired, while walking and observing wildlife, Ceri takes photographs of the landscapes and natural history in the Brecon Beacons.
Keeping the process simple and with an intimate style, Ceri aims to give the viewer a sense of the beautiful flora and wildlife that she enjoys from her home in the Brecon Beacons.
