We commissioned Marian Haf to do a series of collagraphs of us in 2019 to celebrate the history of 1 Bulwark as we opened Found Gallery on site last July. In the 1930s through to the 1950s the building was a store called Ships and Sealing Wax. The different collagraphs show the characters from the poem ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter’, which is where the words Ships & Sealing Wax come from.

Marian graduated as a Fine Art Painting graduate from the University of Gloucestershire, Cheltenham in 2004 and is now settled back home in west Wales raising her family. Marian first started printmaking in 2010 when she joined her local print group ‘Printers in the Sticks,’ as her children are getting older she is increasingly finding the time to develop her practice.

Each collagraph is available as an individual limited edition or you may buy a print version as a card.
