I live in the Herefordshire Olchon Valley where I relish in having more time to return to my art. The rich geology and the ever changing light of this area inspires my painting and drawing giving rise to an edge of abstraction.
Photography has always enabled me to record life’s surprising happenings and often enter into a deeper sphere of nature’s micro world.
In addition, I’ve always loved working in 3D in clay, often modelling portraits cast in bronze, usually commissioned, which can include drawings from life.
My previous involvement with farming, family and differing forms of art with children, the elderly and autism led to my main profession as an art psychotherapist.
Attending Niel Bally’s workshops and interesting group tuition now greatly helps my ideas and work.
