Found Gallery is owned by Punch & James Maughan and opened on July 4th, 2019.
The gallery offers a refreshing, diverse and encouraging stance of what a contemporary art gallery can and should be. The changing exhibition programme showcases emerging as well as established creative talent.
Having always been interested in contemporary art and ceramics Punch has enjoyed developing a space to show off the work of artists and makers that she has discovered and met over the last few years. Spread over two floors the lower gallery is often dedicated to photography.
Developing 1 Bulwark as a gallery space with offices above was a labour of love and we want to thank our architects: Sarah & Jeremy of Featherstone Young. The boys on site: Carl, Ant, Paul, Robin, Pete, Nick, Trevor the electrician, Odddots for all the ply work, Design Dough for our branding & design, Roman Glass in Hereford, Colin of Talgarth Joinery, Leon the plumber, Youngs...and everyone else who has helped us bring Found to Brecon.

Collectorplan offers loans via Arts Council Wales. These loans are interest-free credit agreements offered by Arts Council Wales. UK residents can borrow between £50 and £5,000 towards the cost of a piece or pieces of art and crafts by living artists in Wales.
You only need to pay a 10% deposit upfront. The Collectorplan loan is repaid in monthly instalments by direct debit
