From 1979 to 2020 I ran a restaurant in Hay on Wye. I joined Niel Bally's Art Courses Wales, where to my surprise I found I had a natural talent for portraiture.
I enjoy painting and drawing and like being part of an art group. I like to paint portraits mostly for family and friends. I find making art both challenging, rewarding and often surprising. I am inspired by my garden and the landscape around me.
