Colour, form, shadows and reflections are key components of my art. This has manifested itself in an eclectic mix of subject matter. I follow my natural curiosity and like to experiment when objects, lighting, vistas or surfaces inspire me. Being very fortunate to have been mentored in the last few years by a Trompe L’Oeil artist, my painting technique and ability to observe form and explore shadows has developed. In joining the Black Mountain painters in 2022, I find myself ever moving forward embracing skyscapes, landscapes and experimenting with abstraction and painting techniques.
