Chrissie originally trained as a Silversmith in 1992, working mostly on commissions until she moved to Hay on Wye in 1997 when she took further courses at Hereford Art College and Hampton Court Workshops.
Working mostly in silver and red gold Chrissie takes her inspiration from her surroundings, the stunning Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Her work reflects the organic nature of this wonderful area. Unable to find what she wanted to wear, Chrissie started to make necklaces in 2004. She makes her own silver beads and fastenings and collects unusual good quality beads from all over the world as well as from the creative people of England and Wales now producing small collections. With the occasional exception these are all semi-precious stones.
All Chrissie's pieces tend to be 'chunky' statement pieces.
