She has exhibited Worldwide including London UK, USA, Spain and Mexico City.
Lucilla is known as an accomplished painter of horses in action. Using her ability to capture dynamic movement, she chooses her subjects as vehicles for emotional communication. A love of the beauty of horses in motion inspires in her a personal and spontaneous response.
From a lifetime involvement with horses she has obtained a deep understanding of equine nature and a gift of looking at her subject without sentimentality. As well as her studies of free horses, she also depicts them participating in our games of racing, Polo and jumping, in the art of classical dressage, or as subjects for a portrait, and those which tell the story or the alliance of horse and man.
