Tuesday 22nd November - Friday 23rd December
As part of our festive exhibition at Christmas we are showing some experimental abstract textile and paper wall pieces by Helyne Jennings, as well as continuing to display her colourful paper brooches and ear studs. Graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1981, Helyne has established herself as a contemporary textile/mixed media artist.
Tony Bennett photographer is joining the show in what for him is only his second public exhibition since winning the prestigious prize of Landscape Photographer of the Year 2013, against about 20,000 competing images. In this exhibition, Tony is presenting recent work of night photography, in and around Brecon, in both colour and monochrome. The exceptions are an image of the breath-taking Aurora Borealis photographed in Iceland, and the Milky Way taken from the dark skies above the Elan valley.
We are welcoming back much loved printmaker Richard Studer with a range of his monochrome linocuts and cushions. Arabella Shand and Sue Hunt who exhibited with us earlier this autumn are part of the show and we will have a range of Christmas decorations with a new series by Kim Colebrook as more by Faye Lavery Griffiths. Ceramacist Paul Vining and wood carver Henry Cole are part of this show.
We are continuing to show work by jeweller Chrissie Nash.
